The Dads of Great Students WATCH D.O.G.S.® program is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations designed and developed by educators, experts and parent & guardian volunteers over more than two decades.

LISD PTA Clothes Closet 

The Clothes Closet is a service provided by the LISD Council of PTAs. Anyone with children in LISD schools can shop, no qualifications or vouchers required.

Our PTA recruits volunteers from Naumann several times a year to work in the Clothes Closet. The Clothes Closet needs a minimum of twenty (20) volunteers for the North and eight (8) volunteers for the South, each day that they are open, to help the stores run efficiently and successfully!

Naumann would love to have an active inclusion committee dedicated to serving ALL Naumann Elementary students. Programs to include, Black History Month, National Hispanic Heritage Month, Kids First (insight into unique abilities), Mix It Up at Lunch (meet new friends) and more.

 

Please reach out if there is a specific area that you are experienced with or passionate about and/or if you have access to resources that would facilitate programming. We are working to expand the offerings for our students and our community. National PTA has a wealth of resources and information on this important subject.

Little Free Library

Just like the little, free libraries you see around the neighborhood, Naumann has one outside the front doors! If you see something you'd like to read, take it. When you're finished, return it to the Little Free Library or return another book you've already read. Donations are welcome.

Room Reps

Room reps provide planning for classroom parties and other teacher support. This role gives you a chance to directly impact the experience that students and families have in their class. Room reps organize and share the class directory, plan Winter and Valentine parties and are the point person for any requests for help that teachers have.
